Our Doctor and Staff

Dr. Michael Maksymiuk completed his Bachelor's degree at Boston University. After graduation from BU, he worked in the research department of Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D) from
the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he received
an award for his work in Prosthodontics.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Maksymiuk spent an intensive one-year dental residency at Hartford Hospital which provided resident dentists numerous opportunities
to master various skills. It included a wide variety of procedures from major
facial trauma in the emergency room to crowns and root canals.

Prior to opening his dental practice in Wilton, Dr. Maksymiuk worked for two years as
an Associate with Dr. Robert Burstein in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Dr. Maksymiuk is a life member of the American Dental Association and a life member
of the Connecticut Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
To maintain his skills and expertise in dentistry, Dr. Maksymiuk completes several hours
a year of continuing education units in various dental techniques and practices.

Dr. Maksymiuk is also on the Board of Directors of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce
for 2007--2008 and an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Wilton.
